KENYA NEWS On April 13th 2008, president Mwai Kibaki named a Grand coalition cabinet of 41 Ministers- including the new Prime minister, Raila Odinga, the man who ran against Kibaki during the recent troubled elections. The cabinet, which also included 50 Assistant Ministers, was sworn in at the State House in Nairobi on the 17th of April. The world and citizens of Kenya are putting their trust and faith in this newly formed government; that it will be able to improve conditions, restore peace, repair the damage and make life generally better. Isn t it a shame that most American mothers receive recognition and honor only once a year? I m thankful for a wonderful mom, mother-in-law and wife and they truly deserve more than one special day. ON THE TRAIL The trail has lead us this month to about a dozen new churches. Its been a long month but we do have blessings to show for it. I d like to share three of those with you here& 1. Two new supporting churches! New Grace Baptist Church in Thomasville, NC, and Open Door Baptist Church in McComb, MS, have both recently began supporting us. In addition, we have several other churches we have not heard a response from. 2. One soul saved! While soul-winning in Alabama during a recent Missions Conference one young man prayed and trusted the Lord as his Savior. He attended the Sunday morning services the next morning. My wife and I are continually praying that the Lord will allow us to see souls saved here in the States as well as in Kenya. Souls are dying everywhere and YOU and I must win them. 3. Out with the old, in with the new! It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord makes provision for your needs even before you know about them! At the end of April the Lord saw fit to allow our old computer to  give up the ghost, so to speak. Well, we had just received a love offering when it happened. That was enough to cover half the cost of a replacement. Then, a family member quickly gave us the other half. Through the Lord s blessing, we were able to pay cash for a new, better computer the same week we lost the old one.
